Happy to have my painting included in the lobby of the Ogunquit Playhouse for the July show of “The Nutty Professor”
Remember
Marking this time with art, an opportunity to exhibit, continued work from home with clients and the addition to our family of a new rescue dog, Annie. Grateful for my own abundance while holding the awareness of all others who are suffering greatly.
SOLD!!!
Excited and happy that two paintings sold hot off the easel.

Read MoreSeptember offered me the unique opportunity to immerse myself in a week of art with four art friends. We shared a house on the water within a mile walk of the downtown area and had stellar weather. The beauty of the surroundings and the impetus of others doing art daily spurred me to be more creative in a week than I have been for some time.

These paintings were finished in my studio after my trip to Tuscany and Umbria a year ago this past May. Back from a week at Chateau de la Napoule in southern France, painting plein air with a group from Maine College of Art. Multiple layers of experience and joy in the beauty of this area, the people of Provence, and the connections made with art and the people who participated.
My goal was to get some oil studies and photos from which to work once I returned home.... studies of large shapes and color pushing towards the abstract. That goal was realized and accompanied by an experience of sight and emotion hard to express in words.
